Graciela Gutiérrez Diepa is an artist who uses paint, drawings and photography as the main tools for the creation of her works.

Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, she began to develop her artistic skills at the early age of 6.

In 2002 she moved to Madrid to study fine arts at the Complutense University of Madrid. Subsequently, she obtained a grant which enabled her to travel to Venice with the purpose of continuing her artistic training. She currently lives and has her studio in Madrid.

As if it were a kaleidoscope, her paintings evoke illusions, invented landscapes which originated in a single memory, a smell, or a first impression. It represents dreams and reality; at times she combines and entangles both of them until it seems difficult to recognize each other, if what is perceived is real or just a dream. Using photography as a third eye which observes all around, she plays with perspectives inviting the viewer to plunge into her own world filled with color, subjective shapes and forms.
